Dr. Amanda Houk
Dr. Amanda Houk is an MSU graduate from the class of 2013. After graduating she started her veterinary career working in emergency medicine. In 2015 Dr. Houk started working both Emergency and Day practice. Interests includes general medicine, surgery, dermatology, and gastroenterology. Dr. Houk is married to her life long best friend Thomas Houk and they have 2 dogs – a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd, and a cat.
Hello, I’m Jennie. I am the technician at Willoughby Veterinary Hospital and I have been working here for about 14.5 years. I have 2 dogs, Lucy and Millie. Some of you may have meet Millie, she enjoys coming to work with me. We enjoy going for walks in park around the Holt area. I also have a cat.
Me and my husband Nick have been married for 1.5 years. We spend our spare time with our animals, which they love to hang out at the pool or head to the lake on the weekend.
I am looking forward to all the fun advantage that await me with the new begin I am starting with being apart of Dr. Houk’s team.

Ashley is a 2013 graduate of MSU’s veterinary technician program. After school she started working in emergency medicine and has done so for the past 6 years.
Ashley is married and her husband, Aaron is a school teacher. They have 2 fur babies – Daisy and Lilly.
Hello, I’m Gina. I have been with Willoughby for about 15 years. Before that I worked at Ingham County Animal Control, and before that, the Capital Area Humane Society. I met my husband (Dale) at Animal Control. We’ve been together for 18 wonderful years.
At the moment I have one pet, his name is Ecco a 1.5 year old Doberman ( we can’t wait for spring so we can walk to work ️).
I enjoy long walks, collecting bear and turtle things, barbecues in the back yard, and campfires ( to name a few).
I’m looking forward to this new chapter of the clinic life with Dr Houk.
