New Clients:

for all new clients, a deposit is required to schedule your first appointment. The deposit is the cost of the exam fee and is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit is non-refundable if the appointment gets rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours of the original time, or if you do not show up for the appointment.

Add-on/fit-in appointments:

add-on/fit-in appointments are available most days; these appointments require a non-refundable $70 deposit (essentially pre-paying for the exam) at time of booking the appointment. The deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment date or if you do not show up for the scheduled appointment. These are usually reserved for urgent/sick patients and can have a little bit of a wait time as you are seen between already scheduled appointments. An exam room isn’t always available for add-on/fit-in appointments, so you will wait in your car or lobby until the doctor is ready to see your pet. When the doctor is ready, we will bring your pet to the treatment area where the doctor will perform her examination; she will then come up and speak with you about her findings and recommended treatment/diagnostics. Surgical Appointments:

For all surgical appointments we require a $50 surgical deposit at the time of booking the appointment. This is non-refundable if the appointment is rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment date or if you do not show up for your scheduled procedure.

C-section Appointments:

All scheduled c-section appointments must have proof of pregnancy either by Willoughby Veterinary Hospital or another clinic. Procedure needs to be scheduled 10 days prior to the suspected due date to ensure we have adequate time and staff for the procedure; if the procedure is not scheduled at least 10 days prior to the due date, this will be considered an emergency c-section and there will be an additional charge. C-section appointments require an $80 deposit at time of booking the appointment (this covers the reverse Progesterone and Technician Fee). IF the patient is not ready for a c-section on that first appointment date, an additional $80 deposit is required for the next appointment until she is ready for the c-section. These deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date, or if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment/procedure.
